(This is NOT a real interview with her. Haha)
Interviewer: Tonight here we’ll have probably the most famous lady in whole UK. She is the female star of Harry Potter, better known as Hermione Granger. Here comes Emma Watson!
Emma: Hello! Hello! Thank you very much!
I: Hi, Emma! I’m glad to have you here tonight. How are you?
E: Fine, fine. I’m so happy to be here!
I: Great. Well, let’s start from the beginning. Where are you from?
E: I was born in France but my parents got divorced, when I was 5, we moved to Oxfordshire, UK.
I: Have you returned to France again?
E: Yes, I have! I’ve been there SEVERAL times! I speak French so I love going to France and practicing it! Haha
I: Haha. So... are you an only child?
E: No, no, no. I have one half brother and two twin half sisters from my father and, as my mother has remarried, her husband has two sons, so I have two stepbrothers more; I also have a full brother.
I: What’s his name?
E: He’s Alexander Watson
I: Does he look like you?
E: Yes! Why?
I: No, because I think I’ve seen a boy who looks like you in 2 Harry Potter films.
E: Oh yes! He appeared as an extra.
I: Do you get on well with them?
E: Yes, yes we are a loving family! I sometimes get upset with them so I complain to my parents, but they always remind me that they are my family and that I have to forgive them.
I: Something that is really interesting is how you deal with the studies and the making of the film.
E: Well it’s very hard because in the cast they always make fun of me and, as I am very hot tempered, I get angry and shout at them. (Hahaha)
I: (Hahaha) Are you going to University?
E: Mg
I: We know you used to go to Brown University in the U.S.A. Now where do you go?
E: I go to Zedoresse University in the UK
I: What are you studying?
E: I’m studying to be an accountant
I: I imagine you don’t go on foot. How do you get to University without having to deal with your fans?
E: Ha! I go by car
I: Do you waste your time chatting with Dan and Rupert in the cast, or are you a responsible student.
E: (Hahahahaha) No! Oh no! I am a very responsible girl, ha.
I: Do you have a good relationship with Daniel and Rupert?
E: Mg. I really get on well with them. They are my best friends. I try to keep in touch with them.
I: And…Do you have any hobbies?
E: I design clothes. I love fashion and shopping!
I: Oh! That’s very interesting.
E: Yes, I know. And I also was the cover of many magazines.
I: Which are them?
E: Burberry, Marie Claire, Vogue, Vanity Fair, Elle, The times magazine, Vs magazine, Style, Harper’s Bazaar, Italian Vogue, You magazine and People Tree.
I: Do you design clothes for any of these brands?
E: Yes, I design ecologic clothes for People Tree.
I: Any more hobbies?
E: Yes, I also dance, sing, play hockey and tennis and I love art.
I: Do you admire any famous artists?
E: Yeah, I love Johnny Depp, Julia Roberts and Meryl Streep.
I: Ahhh, Had you acted in any films before Harry Potter?
E: No never only in school plays. (Hahaha) But I appeared in one film while I was filming HP, making the voice of one character in The Tale of Desperaux and in the TV adaptation of “Ballet Shoes” in 2007.
I: Did you go and tell everybody when you got the role?
E: As soon as I sent my application form, I was told that I couldn’t tell my friends; that I had to keep it a secret. That was basically impossible for me because it’s desperate not to tell everyone I knew. (Hahaha)
I: (Hah) Do you watch Harry Potter films and think “Oh! I should have acted better in that scene” Haha.
E: Yeah! I do!
I: And... Have you read all the books?
E: Yes! They are great and when I read them, I think “Oh My God! I’ll have to do THAT!” Hah!
I: Haha. Do you earn a good salary?
E: Yes, but I don’t like to presume it!
I: How modest you are! Do you feel identified with the character of Hermione?
E: Yes, totally. I’m a very good student, I like studying and going to school but I also love staying with my friends.
I: In the movie, Hermione is Ron’s girlfriend. Are you his girlfriend in the real life?
E: I used to be; but now I am single.
I: How does it feel like being Hermione Granger in Harry Potter?
E: Well, it’s really weird. Everybody look at you and it feels strange… Because I’m a very private person, so it’s really annoying when people ask you questions about Harry Potter and my personal life. But I’m learning how to manage it.
I: It is getting the end of the era for you, so how does it feel?
E: It feels really… sad and really… strange. But it’s a relief because it’s being a lot of pressure and a lot of responsibility. But now I am free and I can do whatever I want. Hum, it’s exiting to see what is coming next. It’s been my life so Harry Potter is very important for me.
I: There is a new attraction of HP in Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida. I’VE been there and the simulator game is awesome. You had to film special scenes for that, didn’t you?
E: Yes, I did.
I: And did you try it?
E: No, I didn’t, because I’m a bit scared of Roller Coasters and all that, but Dan and Rupert did try it and they say it’s great.
I: Do you have any plans for the future? Are you filming anything?
E: Yes, I am filming My week with Marilyn for this year and The perks of being a wall flower for 2012.
I: We know you’ve won many awards because of Harry Potter films, but have you won anything for something else?
E: No, but I was nominated for Best UK TV actress because of Ballet Shoes in Glamour Award in 2008.
I: Well, it’s been really fun and interesting to talk with you. Come again soon. Thank you very much.
E: Ha! Thank you. Bye! I love you all.
I: Good bye! That was all for today, people. Thank you for watching us! See us tomorrow at 9:00 pm like always! Good night!
